I am very happy to share another giveaway with you this week from my friend Tiffani Taylor who is an extremely talented painter and artist. She lives in Savannah and is inspired by nature, both what's in her own backyard and also what she sees when she travels.
She's generously offered a $30 gift certificate to her shop to one of my readers. Let's take a look at some of her work...
Winter birds notecards that would make for some lovely holiday cards.
An example of her selection of ornaments which also include ones for a new baby and a handful of ones in her signature floral style.
This is the type of image that I associate with Tiffani and I love seeing her poppies on a collection of bud vases.
Here's another signature of hers, her hydrangea. So you can see (oh, the first image is of a giclee- pretty remarkable, right?) that she offers a wide selection of work that I am confident you could find easily giftable.
Here's how to enter to win a $30 gift certificate to Tiffani's shop:
1. Post a comment about either what you're especially grateful for this year OR what food you are most looking forward to eating over the holiday. (You will be entered twice if you include both!)
2. For convenience if you should win, please feel free to email me your mailing address at thingswemake at gmail dot com. At the very least, you must post a comment with a username, rather than anonymously, otherwise I won't know who you are!
The contest will run for a week, so from today through 12am next Tuesday December 1 when I'll post the winner and share another great contest I'm co-hosting with Amy from Mod Podge Rocks. Good luck!

I am extremely grateful for my family, friends, creativity and kindness everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to some pumpkin pie!
What beautiful talent!
ReplyDeleteAmy, I am most thankful for my family. Even though we're thousands of miles apart, I know they're always there for me and encouraging me.
The thing I'm most looking forward to tasting is pumpkin pie. We can't get pureed pumpkin in a can here, so I made my own. I don't think we've ever had fresh pumpkin pie.
haha. at the risk of sounding repetitive, i am thankful for my family and looking forward to trying each of my mother's SIX pies. :)
ReplyDeleteI am most grateful for my partner (he's wonderful!), my Mum (she's always there when I need her!) and my friends (they're super-awesome!).
ReplyDeleteWe have already celebrated Thanksgiving here (in Canada), but a friend of mine who's originally from Nebraska is throwing a Thanksgiving dinner party on Thursday and I am most looking forward to Turkey! It is one of my most favourite foods in the world and I love the fact that I don't have to make it ;)
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I am most grateful this year for being accepted into architecture school... and I am always grateful for my family and boyfriend!
ReplyDeleteI am most looking forward to a bailey's irish cream chocolate pie that my aunt makes!

I am thankful for the past year I have had and the changes I've had to make in my life. It's important to stay positive during uncertain times and having good friends and family their to support you in the decisions you make. Thank you all!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to pick a certain food that I was looking forward to having this year for Thanksgiving but if I had to choose one it was the pumpkin pie. MY FAVORITE! I experimented this year and made some from canned pumpkin as well as fresh pie pumpkin puree that I made. Really couldn't tell to much of a difference. Both really yummy! :)
Happy Thanksgiving AMY!
Leslie
I am grateful for wonderful artists like Tiffani... and the wonder of the creative spirit. (I am grateful to for family and all that other stuff too, but Tiffani's work is inspiring).
ReplyDeleteAnd... I am not a huge foodie over the holiday season, but there are going to be some seriously amazing chocolate cookies at Christmas eve this year and I can't wait :)
Amy, I have just retired from my part-time job. I am so thankful that I had the health and stamina to work until now (78 years old). I am also so thankful for my 2 children, their mates and my grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteTiffani's art work is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving is truly one of my favorite holidays. I love getting together with family and friends to celebrate all of our blessings. This Thanksgiving, I am most thankful for my 92 year old Grandmother. She has lived a wonderful life and truly counts her blessings. Often times when someone asks her how she is doing she responds with "I'm blessed."
I most looked forward to my Mom's yummy raspberry jello. It is a dish that we have for every holiday. But I also enjoyed the pumpkin and apple pies!
Wow - those flower vases are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhy thanks for asking Amy!
This year I am especially grateful for the time that I've had with my friends - I had my two closest friends get married this year and I got the chance to spend more time with them than I have in years. It was truly wonderful.
I am also really grateful for food. Particularly for my mom's fresh turkey and cranberry sandwiches - the just don't taste better anywhere else.
